- Configure inbound STOP and START handling and confirm the consent text used by the public form.
Front-end shortcodes and appearance
Use [homepro_email_form] for the verified email preference form and [homepro_sms_form] for the verified SMS preference form. Open Form Appearance to configure separate Email and SMS button colors, hover colors, text colors, corner radius, and live previews.
Important provider requirements
The plugin does not include email delivery, SMS message credits, phone numbers, or OpenAI usage. Configure and maintain the selected third-party services separately. SMS availability, sender registration, consent requirements, and charges depend on the chosen provider and destination country.
Troubleshooting
- If email does not arrive, verify sender authentication, SMTP delivery, WordPress cron, and campaign queue status.
- If SMS authentication or delivery fails, review the provider response, approved sender, destination format, balance, and registration requirements.
- If form colors do not update, clear WordPress, CDN, and browser caches.
- If WooCommerce documents do not open, resave WordPress permalinks and confirm the My Account endpoints are enabled.
- Use the responsive reports and outbound logs to inspect failed recipients, provider responses, and delivery status.

HomePro Donations
Current version: 1.4.2
HomePro Donations provides responsive fundraising campaigns, Stripe and compatible WooCommerce payments, searchable donor administration, protected bulk actions, and verified full or partial refunds.
Installation and initial setup
- Install and activate HomePro Donations.
- Open Settings → HomePro Licenses, enter the license key, and activate it.
- Open Fundraising Campaigns → Settings and configure the brand name, Stripe test credentials, webhook signing secret, and optional WooCommerce checkout.
- Create a campaign with its goal, currency, organizer, location, and suggested amounts.
- Publish the campaign and complete test payments before enabling live credentials.
Campaign payments
- Stripe Checkout remains available as the standard donation flow.
- Logged-in WooCommerce customers can use eligible saved payment methods when WooCommerce checkout is enabled.
- Donation checkout removes unrelated WooCommerce fees, order notes, and booking language.
- Dedicated HomePro confirmations prevent duplicate WooCommerce donation emails while preserving order processing and My Account records.
Donation administration
Open Fundraising Campaigns → Donations to search donors, email addresses, campaigns, amounts, messages, and payment references. Filter by paid, pending, failed, partially refunded, or refunded status.
- Edit a donor name, public anonymous setting, or donor message using the protected row controls.
- Select multiple rows to change anonymous display, restore public names, update status, or delete HomePro records.
- Review the original amount, total refunded amount, payment method, transaction reference, refund reference, and refund date.
- The responsive administration layout supports desktop, tablet, landscape, and mobile screens.
Full and partial refunds
- Locate a paid or partially refunded donation.
- Choose a full or partial refund and confirm the amount.
- Select Process refund and confirm the irreversible provider request.
- Verify the new status, refunded total, provider reference, and date.
Stripe and WooCommerce refunds are processed by the base plugin. PayPal and eligible Venmo refunds require the current HomePro PayPal & Venmo extension. Deleting a HomePro donation record does not refund or delete the payment at its provider.
Troubleshooting
- If Stripe checkout fails, confirm the active mode, secret key, webhook URL, signing secret, currency, and server connectivity.
- If WooCommerce checkout is unavailable, confirm WooCommerce and a compatible gateway are active and the customer is logged in when using a saved method.
- If a refund fails, confirm the original transaction reference, refundable balance, provider credentials, and current payment status before retrying.
- Use test or sandbox transactions to validate checkout and refunds before processing live donations.
HomePro Donations – PayPal & Venmo Extension
Current version: 1.3.2
This extension adds verified PayPal and eligible Venmo checkout, donor receipts, administrator notifications, and full or partial provider refunds to HomePro Donations.
Requirements and setup
- Install and activate HomePro Donations first.
- Install and activate the PayPal & Venmo extension as a separate plugin.
- Activate its license under Settings → HomePro Licenses.
- Open Fundraising Campaigns → PayPal & Venmo.
- Enable sandbox mode, enter sandbox client credentials, and save.
- Configure donor receipts and administrator notifications, then complete a sandbox donation and refund.
- After successful testing, enter live credentials and disable sandbox mode.
Secure checkout behavior
- PayPal and eligible Venmo buttons appear on supported HomePro donation forms.
- Public checkout avoids cached WordPress cookie nonces and uses server-side origin checks and rate limiting.
- The server obtains PayPal OAuth credentials and verifies capture amount, currency, and campaign before finalizing the donation.
- Venmo is displayed only when PayPal identifies an eligible donor, account, browser, and device.
- Optional debug logging records privacy-safe provider diagnostics without credentials or complete donor details.
Receipts and notifications
Enable donor receipts, administrator notifications, or both. Configure the sender name and email subjects using {campaign}, {amount}, {donor_name}, {payment_method}, and {donation_id}. Reliable delivery requires a working WordPress mail transport.
PayPal and Venmo refunds
Refunds begin in Fundraising Campaigns → Donations. The extension verifies the original PayPal capture, submits an idempotent full or partial provider request, and returns the refund reference to the base Donations plugin. Do not repeatedly submit a refund while a provider response is pending.
Troubleshooting
- If buttons do not appear, confirm the base plugin is active, the extension is enabled, credentials match the selected mode, and the campaign form is current.
- If Venmo is absent, test on an eligible device and region; PayPal controls Venmo eligibility.
- If capture or refund validation fails, confirm the amount, currency, campaign, capture reference, credentials, and provider status.
- If email receipts are missing, verify the donor email, notification settings, and WordPress mail delivery.
HomePro LiveChat
HomePro LiveChat provides a branded live-chat widget and WordPress administrator inbox.
Common Features
- Responsive front-end chat widget
- WordPress dashboard inbox
- Custom colors and branding
- Conversation notifications
- Desktop and mobile compatibility
- Custom welcome and availability messages

Troubleshooting
If no time slots appear, review the product availability, duration, capacity, blocked dates, and timezone. If the original WooCommerce service price is missing, resave the product and confirm its regular price. If Google Calendar events are not created, reconnect OAuth, verify the selected calendar, and confirm that the WooCommerce payment reached a paid status.
License Activation, Renewal, and Restricted Mode
Every current HomePro consumer plugin includes a shared license screen under Settings → HomePro Licenses. Enter the license key, select Save and Activate, and use Check Status whenever the website needs to refresh its license record.
Active license
An active license allows full plugin administration, eligible updates, downloads, and support for the licensed website count.
14-day renewal grace period
When a license expires, the plugin remains fully manageable for 14 days. WordPress administrators receive a renewal notice showing the remaining grace period. Renewing and activating a valid key restores or preserves full access automatically.
Restricted read-only mode
After the grace period, existing public services and stored customer data remain available. Administrators can continue viewing records, reports, and permitted exports, but creating, sending, changing, or deleting plugin-managed items is blocked until renewal.
- Existing bookings, chats, donation pages, account pages, language selection, and mail transport remain available.
- Existing contacts, campaigns, messages, quotations, invoices, bookings, donations, logs, and reports remain visible.
- Permitted exports, downloads, reports, print views, and customer data access remain available.
- No customer or operational data is deleted when a license expires.
- Plugin updates, new downloads, support, additional website activations, and administrative changes require an active license.
Connection protection
A previously valid installation receives a temporary 7-day connection grace period if the licensing server cannot be reached. This prevents a brief network or server interruption from immediately restricting the plugin.
Features
- Search languages by language name or country
- Broad global language list with representative country flags
- Automatic translation with saved visitor preference for one year
- WordPress menu-location integration and shortcode placement
- Responsive desktop, tablet, and mobile selector
- RTL layout protection for Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Urdu

Frequently Asked Questions
Will an update overwrite my settings?
HomePro plugin updates are designed to preserve existing settings and customer data.
Always create a backup before applying an update to a production website.
Can I move a license to another website?
License transfers may be available depending on the license plan, activation limit, and
current activation status. Deactivate the old website before activating the new one.
Can multiple HomePro plugins work together?
Yes. HomePro plugins are designed to integrate with the same storefront, licensing,
downloads, and customer-account ecosystem.
Can I upgrade my plan?
Eligible customers may upgrade from Personal to Business, Agency, or HomePro Suite through
the available account or product options.
Does every plugin require WooCommerce?
Not necessarily. WooCommerce is required for storefront purchasing, billing, customer
downloads, and licensing functions. Individual plugin functionality may have different
requirements.
Are payment-processing fees added to the customer’s price?
HomePro does not add the former 4.5% platform service fee to plugin orders. Payment processors
may deduct their own merchant-processing fee from the merchant payout.
